Make This the Summer You Finally Ride

A New Summer Riding Series for Santa Rosa and Windsor Riders

There’s something about summer that makes it feel like the right time to start something new.

Maybe it’s the longer days. Maybe it’s the little extra breathing room in the schedule. Or maybe it’s just that summer gives us permission to finally do the things we’ve been saying we’ll get around to.

If horseback riding has been one of those things for you or your child, we’re excited to share something new.

This summer, we’re launching a two-month Summer Riding Series for riders in Santa Rosa and Windsor, designed for beginner and intermediate riders who want more than just a one-time lesson.

It’s a chance to spend the summer building riding skills, gaining confidence around horses, and learning in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

No cramming everything into one week. No rushed camp schedule.

Just steady progress, thoughtful instruction, and time to truly connect with horses.

What the Summer Riding Series Includes

The program spans two months and includes:

  • 8 private riding lessons

  • 4 unmounted group horsemanship classes

Together, these sessions give riders a well-rounded equestrian experience.

The private lessons focus on individual riding goals and allow each rider to progress at their own pace with one-on-one instruction.

The horsemanship classes focus on everything that happens beyond the saddle, including understanding horse behavior, handling, communication, grooming, groundwork, and the foundational skills that make riders more confident and capable.

Because becoming a strong rider isn’t just about what happens during a lesson.

It’s about understanding the horse as a partner.

Designed to Fit Real Summer Schedules

We know summer calendars can be all over the place.

Family trips, other activities, changing routines, it’s a busy season.

That’s why private lessons in the Summer Riding Series are fully self-scheduled.

Once registered, riders receive scheduling access right away and can book lesson times that work best for their schedule.

Whether you’re coming from Santa Rosa or making the short drive from Windsor, the flexibility makes it easy to stay consistent while still enjoying summer.

Lessons begin the week of June 8th.

The group horsemanship classes will take place on Saturday afternoons throughout the program.

Who This Program Is For

The Summer Riding Series is open to:

  • Beginner riders

  • Intermediate riders

  • Riders returning after time away

  • Kids, teens, and adults ready to try something new

If you’re in Santa Rosa or Windsor and have been looking for a horseback riding program that feels approachable, supportive, and structured enough to build real progress, this is exactly what we created.

You don’t need prior experience.

You just need the willingness to show up and learn.

Program Investment

The full two-month series is $640 total, split into two payments for flexibility:

  • $320 due at registration

  • $320 due 30 days after registration

This includes all 8 private lessons and 4 horsemanship sessions.

Why Riders from Santa Rosa and Windsor Love Summer at the Barn

For many riders, barn time becomes the best part of the week.

It’s time spent outdoors, focused, unplugged, and learning something meaningful.

For Santa Rosa families, it’s a local opportunity to build equestrian skills close to home.

For Windsor riders, it’s an easy nearby option that offers a true horse-centered experience without a major commute.

And for everyone, it’s a chance to spend summer doing something memorable.

Something grounding.

Something different from the usual summer routine.

Spots Are Limited

To keep instruction personalized and scheduling flexible, space in the Summer Riding Series is limited.

Once registered, riders receive immediate scheduling access so they can begin booking private lessons right away.

If this feels like the summer to finally start riding or start again, we’d love to welcome you.

Sometimes all it takes is one summer at the barn to discover something that stays with you for years.

Ready to get started? Click here to book your spot now and reserve your summer riding experience before spaces fill up.
