We offer a variety of programs, including:

• Beginner through advanced riding lessons

• Youth and adult riding programs

• Summer and winter camps (riding camp, ranch camp)

• Competitive training, including Schooling shows, Rated shows and IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) Teams

• Half leasing, Full leasing and Full training for privately owned horses

We have two locations in Petaluma and Santa Rosa, proudly serving riders across Sonoma County and Marin County.

We welcome riders ages 5 and up, from beginners to experienced equestrians.

No, you do not need your own horse. We provide well-trained lesson horses suitable for all skill levels.

• Boots with a heel (no sneakers or sandals)

• Helmet

At Strides Riding Academy, our Riding Camp is perfect for horse lovers who want hands-on experience with horses and riding. Campers enjoy daily riding lessons, horsemanship activities, grooming, tack care, and fun equine-related games.

Our camp provides a fun and educational environment where campers build confidence, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for horses.

No prior experience is needed! We welcome beginner through intermediate riders for camp.

✅ Riding Camp Packing List:

• Riding helmet - We have helmets to borrow if you do not have one.

• Boots with a heel are ideal but any closed toed shoes work

• Riding-appropriate clothing (leggings or riding breeches, no shorts)

• Water bottle (labeled with the camper’s name)

• Sunscreen (apply before arrival and bring extra)

• Lunch & snacks

• Extra change of clothes (just in case!)

• Shorts to change into for the hot afternoons!

We will email campers the week prior to camp with a detailed list!

Yes! We have an IEA team and attend both schooling and rated shows!
